PENNANTS
Second Sister: Ho riprodotto vari Pennants, ovvero le bandierine triangolari, di alcune tra le più famose squadre di baseball, fatte interamente a mano.
Su cartoncini colorati, che ho prima tagliato per dargli la tipica forma, ho poi riprodotto i loghi delle varie squadre usando la tecnica mista di pastelli e pennarelli.
Tutti insieme sono stati messi su una parete e in mezzo a loro uno personalizzato con la foto del festeggiato.
Facevano la loro porca figura!!!!
Second Sister: I made several Teams Pennnants,everything was handmade...by me!
I ripped the colored papers making the typical shape of pennans, and then I reproduced the Logos using pencils and markers.
Later we put them on the wall and We also made a "not famous" Logo of the birthay guy(as you can see in the 8th photo,it was the purple one!!!)
They looked sooooo good and realistic too!!!!
LA PANCHINA DEI GIOCATORI / DUGOUT
In un lato della nostra libreria abbiamo ricreato il dugout usando 2 cartoncini spessi che abbiamo incollato in parte sul muro e in parte sul mobile.Abbiamo poi aggiunto delle mazze e delle palle da baseball.
With part of our library we create a dugout using 2 green thick sheets that were stick on the wall and the furniture.Then we put some baseball bats and balls
LA TAVOLA
Come cena ci sembrava abbastanza appropriato usare il tipico cibo-spazzatura da stadio, quindi patatine, pop corn, hot dog, cetriolini e sott'aceti, salse messicane ecc.ecc.
The menu was alike the stadium one...so we made hot dogs,chips pop corns ect...

LA CASA BASE E IL CAMPO/ HOME BASE AND FIELD
IL DIAMANTE
Utilizzando un grande pezzo di stoffa verde pesante gli abbiamo incollato dello scotch bianco per ricreare le strisce del diamante.
We put some white adhesive tape on a big green carpet...et voilà,our field was made!
DECORAZIONI-DECORATIONS
In giro abbiamo sparso decorazioni inerenti al gioco, palle da baseball (che sono palle di polistirolo che noi abbiamo decorato ricreando la tipica cucitura delle palle da baseball), guantoni, mazze e cappellini.
We made our own baseball balls made with polystyrene balls(the ones that you can find in craft shops used for chirstmas balls),then we coloured them with red pencil making the basball balls seams.
LA TORTA-THE CAKE
Che dire...non l'abbiamo fatta noi, ma quanto era buona!!! e BELLISSIMA.
The cake field was made by our pastry chef,then we put the baseball player cake topper on it.
